OXYVENT Cylinder

The OXYTRANS and OXYVENT cylinders have been established in the Greek market as products that provide solutions to a plethora of daily problems faced by oxygen device users, such as:

  • Purchases of pressure regulators that wear out due to frequent use and require replacement
  • Purchases of oxygen flow regulators (flow meters) that also wear out with frequent use
  • Continuous replacements of cylinders due to damaged valves from the use of tools for pressure regulator adjustment
  • Finding the appropriate regulator depending on the specific reason for using the oxygen cylinder

To address the above problems and for practical purposes, the OXYTRANS and OXYVENT cylinders were created, which feature a corresponding head where the cylinder valve, pressure regulator, control manometer, safety valve, 3.5 bar outlet (in the OXYVENT version), and flow regulator (flow meter) are unified. This results in all necessary components already being on the OXYTRANS and OXYVENT cylinders, without the need to waste time and money to find them, ultimately making oxygen therapy an easy process for both in-hospital and out-of-hospital use (homecare). It should be noted that specifically in the case of OXYVENT, it can provide oxygen to a portable ventilator through the 3.5 bar outlet simultaneously with the oxygen supply through the 0-15 lt/min flow regulator for simple oxygen therapy or for emergency use.

Finally, it should be emphasized that the integrated OXYTRANS and OXYVENT cylinders eliminate any requirement for the procurement of regulators, flow meters, manometers, or valves. All of the above are included in the head, which is protected by a special plastic protective cap to prevent cylinder impacts and personnel minor injuries.

The ease of handling and transportation makes it suitable for applications such as:

  • In-hospital transports with a stretcher
  • Use in ambulances
  • For first aid
  • Wherever an oxygen cylinder is required as a small reserve in some supply

The OXYTRANS and OXYVENT cylinders are widely available in sizes of 3 or 5 liters, but it is possible to customize the heads to different sizes to meet customer needs. Accessories for the above cylinders include wheeled cylinder transporters.
